In 2012, Bro Frank was called by God to plant a church in Nicholasville which would focus on finding people who don't yet know Jesus and people who have felt hurt by the church. God says He wants His Word given to all people, and by following the example of Christ’s ministry, we want to reach everyone who doesn't know him personally.

Just like the walls of Jericho, we are focused on breaking down the barriers that keep many people from finding Jesus. According to the Books of Timothy, the church is called to preach and teach sound doctrine. There are no rules on how that must be done so at Jericho, you can expect the unexpected. We are a Bible-based, casual and fun church where all people are invited to come worship, regardless of how they look, how much money they have, or where they are on their spiritual walk. 

Services will be held on Saturday evenings at 6pm and will present Biblical truths in nontraditional ways. The format will be as varied as the people in the congregation. Everyone is encouraged to come around 5:30pm to grab a snack and take time to visit as friends and family before coming together for the message. We love kids and they are welcome to stay in the service! We even have activities for them to do when their attention spans run short. Or if you prefer, there will be a safe space with qualified staff available for babies and young children.

You can expect lots of celebrations at Jericho. Salvation, baptism, and life's milestones are all worth recognizing and will be honored in a big way! And of course, there will be opportunities to learn and grow. Small groups will be available and there will be a variety of ways to serve in our community. After all, we are called to share what we have found in Jesus!
